For the past month the site has been awarded with several awards and I'd like to thank my friends here in the blogosphere for the honor. May God bless you all!

First off is the Super Scribbler Award from Sharon Faith of

There are some rules for this award in which I am willing to comply. Here are the rules:

2. Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.

3. Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to
This Post, which explains The Award.

4. Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit
This Post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we’ll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!

We'll be at the TOP through Christ

I have posted about not allowing any circumstance to stop us from doing what God wants us to do. I have set the Cebu Inmates (from the Philippines) as an example. They as prisoners as they are have create one of the most viewed Videos from Youtube with more than 23 million views as of this writing. And now they have a new one for us to enjoy. Check it here: CPDRC Inmates Dancing

The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. You will always be at the top, never at the bottom, if you faithfully obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today.
Deut. 28:13

The verse above is a PROMISE by the Lord God himself. As I've always mentioned, this promise will remain to be a promise unless we live it and believe it.

I believed it! In fact, I constantly am declaring it! Yes, Lord! I'll be at the TOP and of course always through Christ Jesus only.

I'd like to testify on the goodness of the Lord as far this site is concern. Just recently, I got PageRank 2 from Google for just 2 months of blogging. I'm not sure if that is something I should be proud of but one thing for sure I am thankful.Thank You Lord!

I want to also thank the Lord for constantly increasing my Alexa Rank day after day. When I joined Alexa, this site was at 6 million ++ rank and now, as of this writing this site is now 347,218. Wow! That means out of million blogs out ther
e, this site is now the 347, 218th site! Still, it's far but I'm still very thankful.

In BlogCatalog, where I am a member I have a rank of 65.6. I'm not sure how they rank sites but I'm still really thankful because this site is above half of all the thousand blogger-members there.

As you can see in the uploaded pic, the site is #2 in Christian Topsites, #2 in Christian Blogs, #1 in TOP.ORG, and #1 in TOP Blogs. That's what "we'll be at the TOP" really means. This is not to boast but this is to praise the Lord even more! I may not stay on those ranks forever, but I praise the Lord for putting me there. It was only through Him and For him alone forevermore!

Why don't you share some good testimonies? How have God been blessing you lately? If you haven't been declaring this promise yet, start now and expect great things to happen in your Life. Not just in the blogging world but most importantly in your own personal life.

To Give is Better than to Receive

"...remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
Acts 20:35 (NIV)

I want to share to you two great examples of a Church and a Coffee shop who are strongly living according to this principle the Lord Jesus Christ himself had given.

First, a Texas Church (Cross Timber's Community Church) is giving money away instead of collecting money for the offering. yes. You read it right. They distribute the offering box not to collect but to give away. In fact, this church have given half a million dollars to all needy members who have been struggling financially for two months now. Now, that's amazing! Click Reverse Collection Plate for the video.

The Storyville Coffee Company had given away all it's revenue for the month of May. No, they're not giving only their profits but they're giving theire ENTIRE Revenue to the International Justice Mission.

“International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems.” From the IJM website. Meaning for every coffee, you're actually donating to IJM. Now, isn't that one more blessed story?

These two examples are so great that my prayer is for them to spread as pandemic. How about you? What have you given? Have you just been receiving?

Let me also take this opportunity to thank my dear friend Valerie of Simply4God who had given me an award. Thanks Valerie. May God Bless you more!

Be Humble | Let others Praise You

Proverbs 27:2 (New International Version)

2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth;
someone else, and not your own lips.

Reflection:

How many times did we try to praise ourselves before men? How many times did we struggle just to be noticed and appreciated or recognized? And most of the time it ends up the opposite.

We need recognition, rewards, praises and appreciation at times but it should never become our main reason and motivation for doing something. God blesses us when we obey His will but our motivation should never be the blessing but the desire to obey Him. Not after the Hand but after the Heart of God as others would usually say. Let's be excellent with what we're doing not because we have been recognized and appreciated but because we're working for the Lord and not for men [Eph. 6:7].

God wants to remind us through his Word,

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. [Phil. 2:3]

Today, I'd take the opportunity of thanking my friends for Blog Awards they've given me. Let God be glorified with these awards. More of him and less of me.

by Kay of Christian Blog and Koko of Kokijar

Frienship Awardees:
Valerie of Simply4God
Tyrone of Provident 360
by Goody of A Friend Named Goody

The instructions say I would need to award these awards to other bloggers. For now let me hold off and choose the right ones to be recognized. I'll just be updating this post once I've already chosen. Again Thanks Kay, Koko and Goody! God Bless you more!
